Development around the Saint Laud train station

The conversion of brownfield sites around the Saint-Laud train station is a real opportunity to redevelop Angers and its suburbs. ‘Pôle Gare’ is a new eco-district fostering the setting-up of businesses, that can thus benefit from the nearby train station and the multimodal centre (trains, buses, bus, tramway).
The station surroundings become a passageway, but also a place to work and live. During the first operational phase, a pedestrian path was set up to connect the platform to the new parking lot. This new path offers a comfortable connection, particularly for travellers with suitcases.
