“ l’Orée du Golf” mixed development area

A green belt, which is the project’s centrepiece, is developed around two valley lines. It allows the transition between the main business areas, in the south, and the residential areas in the north. A set of green terraces that can be temporarily flooded illustrates this singular landscaping, which integrates a rainwater management system (temporary storage and storm seepage).
In the medium-term, a new segregated public bus line will serve this area. The shops will be gathered around a main square, which will also serve as a main crossroads. The square will be the heart of the future district. It is conceived as a place to live, to work and to spend one’s leisure time. It will also be connected to the green central belt.
